Our head chef, Jan Meyers,
established our reputation for high quality, delicious, and
beautifully presented quiche, soups, salads, sandwiches, and
desserts when we opened in April. Words cannot express our gratitude
to Jan for sharing her many gifts with us at the tea house – we wish
her well as she leaves us to focus on her counseling practice and
writing.
We are very pleased and excited to announce our partnership with
Executive Chef William Sherman, whose Amuze Bistro opened recently
in Palmer Lake for dinner:

Chef Bill’s amazing food is now available at the tea house: this
week we feature his delicious soups and quiches. See our posted
weekly menu
for other new offerings from Chef Bill. Our menu continues to
include some of Jan’s signature salads and sandwiches, and all of
our scones and sweets are baked in house as always. |

December Saturday afternoon tea times are
filling up fast – our Holiday Afternoon Tea menu is also available
Tuesdays through Fridays, beginning at 2 pm. Saturday afternoons in
December will feature live music from 2 to 4 pm. On December 6, we
welcome the Crescendo String Quartet. These high school aged
quadruplets have performed together since elementary school, and
will be filling the air with light classical and Christmas music.
Diane continues to develop the Holiday Afternoon Tea menu: the
dessert course will include Irish Cream and Coffee Pound Cake, Port
Wine Balls, and rich Almond Bars. Watch for the Holiday Afternoon
Tea menu to be posted on the website soon.

Journeys photography exhibit through November 8th. Special 10%
